Sadie and I found this guy on the way home from pre-school this afternoon. They tell me it’s a Giant Water Bug. He measures 1 3/4 inch long.

The Pettisville Legion Post closed in 2009, with the few members left, joining Posts in adjacent towns. This video shows the 2009 Memorial Day Parade and Pettisville members. It’s a short clip at the Lutheran Cemetery condensed to pick out the legion members.
